Jane Austen's sixth novel, Persuasion, was published in 1818, six months after her death with the help of her brother Henry, and sister Cassandra.

During her lifetime, Jane Austen anonymously published four novels, but for the publication of Persuasion, her brother, Henry, provided a short biography of his late sister that was published alongside the novel - thereby revealing the identity of the author of Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Emma. The novel Northanger Abbey would follow Persuasion as Jane Austen's last completed work.

Jane Austen's work has been in continous print since 1832
